Introduction:

We are not the average gaming community as we take this community very seriously and that includes our focus on tactics and strategy in Mechwarrior Online. We are a Regiment that believes in the ideals of serious training, team work and treating situations in-game as real life situation and not simply approaching the from the "O’ it’s just another game prospective". This prospective is not easy for every individual to grasp as idle chatter in drop ships, squads, groups or platoons can get in the way and make you lose focus on the combat situations. We are paramilitary gaming organization / group, this means that our approach is different than some gaming communities as for example of this would be are focused on our first (Unit) mentality.. This means in situation where a choice must be made it will always be clear for us.

We treat our ranking system with the same serious manner as well that means you have to earn that rank and then keep that rank. This can be a very difficult task as it means keeping up with your assigned duties in our (unit) and treat it with respect and to move beyond it can be even more difficult than simply keeping it as it should be and will be in this Unit. When earning the next rank we measure it by your willingness to fulfill the role of your rank and the dedication through your personal efforts to improve upon your own abilities and the abilities of this [unit] through your assist in whatever tasks are needed to be performed on behalf of this Regiment. We also understand life circumstance can get in the way of things and all we ask our members is to keep in formed whenever possible.

We do require our members to use the [312th] tag in their nicknames, whenever they are not on our Voip such as team-speak, but rather on an alternative team speaks or VoIP services to show your loyalty to this Regiment. When possible we ask our members to put the "312th Black Trident Regiment" forum tag in your signature here on MWO and keep it up to date. We are friendly to new players and our regiment is casual player focused and we are strictly a Mechwarrior Online community.

We can often be found using Tactics and Strategy on the battlefield both in small groups and large one, we do not focus on winning the battle but our ability to produce results and work together in pug matches, when we are in group of twelve or company we focus on the win through tactics and strategy.

A situation arose in which could not be fixed and a new course was decided upon rather then continually trying to patch a bad situation and make it work it has been lay to rest. This sadly was coming but it was delayed many times as hope seemed to start but then fail to rise and finely it hit a point in which it could not rise again.

That is why its parent group is returning and entering into this Universe, only that is solid now do to removing elements being purged from it and now it is much more on target then it previously had been. I won't say anything more on a open forum such as this if you truly seek to know more then I suggestion messaging me personally about the matter in private section on the subject.

We do require our members to use the [H*S] tag in their nicknames, whenever they are not on our Voip such as team-speak, but rather on an alternative team speaks or VoIP services to show your loyalty to this community. When possible we ask our members to put the House forum tag in your signature upon becoming a full member of this unit in any or all massively multiplayer Games that you are participating in with us to display your loyalty and respect to this House and community. We are friendly to newbies, causal player and we accept both of them into our ranks and we have veterans in our community from many back rounds in many different massively multiplayer games during their closed betas and alphas. That can help you with any questions or concerns.

We follow a structure that requires you to improve upon your abilities and while building loyalty to this House. We are not simple [Unit] but dedicated [Unit] as long as you show loyalty and attempt perform at your best in all you do here in this House [Unit] that is all that is required of you and you will have a place with us. We consider ourselves an offline and online community because of our friendship extend off the internet in many cases into real life. We seek to be the best and we thrive to continually approve upon this House and Community whenever possible by adapting and changing but never lowering our standards but improving upon them raising them when it is warranted. There is no special treatment for officers or higher ranks as all are equally treated and can be easily demoted in rank or dismissed from this [unit] as easily as the lowest ranking member, respect must always be maintained and quality not quantity is what we seek here in the House of Solveinean.

Note: We have been together as unit sense August 2012, up until recently we wore known as the 312th Black Trident Regiment. That group is gone in its place is House of Solveinean.

This came as a surprise to several erstwhile members of the 312th, myself included.

GIven the tone of the emails and such I had received prior, I am of the opinion that it is for the best.

Update for 04/07/2014:
So what has been going on in the House of Solveinean sense the closing of the 312th Black Trident Regiment and cleansing within it. The truth is a lot much of it dealing with getting people put into their new ranks and then helping them get use to their responsibilities. Then on top of all that new lore being added to our new website.
The truth is what I did was extremely hash but needed and the (Unit) has benefited from it in just these last day. We have already began to rebuild in the unit and with a much needed overhaul to the way in which we now recruit and our focus has become more solid focused upon mechwarrior online. We still use other squad based games but mostly for training purpose and members have become more active.
We are holding "Open Recruitment" though at this time all former members are on suspension and have a three week hold put on their re-entry they are not permitted on our TS3 and do not have access to the materials on our site. The secondary menu bar has been closed off for members only and with it the novel material and easy access points.
The truth is this [Unit] takes the games in which we participate a lot more serious and that is what has been needed for along time. I look forward to this future and sadly before I could not say the same harsh as it may seem of the former 312th Black Trident Regiment community.

Personal Update
4 weeks to class end, 3 exams this week, AND NO WORK THIS WEEK!!!! Hopefully the exams will go well so I can enjoy my weekend.

Notification 04/07/2014:
The decision has been made to discontinued all other Massively Multiplayer games and never again re-open the multi-branch as long as mechwarrior online exists this House and its members will be focus on Mechwarrior online. We are now solo focus on building reputation and are units abilities here in mechwarrior online alone and look forward to our future here as strong close nit group.

We have been running multiple twelve man groups with some new friends over on the "North American Com-Star Team Speak" and picked up a old member returning to us do to inactivity which we happily welcome into the House of Solveinean. We had some good matches against the Templar's though they we lost it was great non the less and made many improvements to our tactics and strategies, though we had victory and tie so far tonight. This is great and we plan to train with our new friends regularly the "Golden Eagle Mercenary Corp" and additional friends.
